Mitsubishi Repair: Mitsubishi Galant 2003, radiator hoses, mitsubishi galant

Question
I just got the timing belt, serpentine belt, and radiator hoses replaced on my car. It had all the original clamps and pieces and I got these replaced because it just hit 100,000 miles. Now whenever I press the gas it makes a noise and it holds back. If I press harder on the breaks it will speed up but then it jerks back. So now it doesn't have a smooth ride and whenever I hit 60 miles an hour it jerks when I switch between gas and the brake. It was never like this before and I dont know what it is now.

Answer
Missy,
Your timing belt may be slightly off, which would affect the fuel flow and ignition timing.  You should first go back to the mechanic that replaced your timing belt and have them double check to make sure the timing is properly set.  Have them also check the fuel system and ignition system for proper spark.
Good luck!
