Mitsubishi Repair: Strange happening, steering column, galant

04 Galant Mitsubishi automatic---When I turned off my, my AC fan would not turn off.  I had to start it and turn it off several times before the fan would shut down.  Then I noticed the head lights were on.  I had to pull the fuse to get it the lights to cut off.

It sounds like you may have a switching problem with one of more relays in your relay box under the hood.  Normally the lights and fans will only come on when the key is turned to the ACC and RUN positions.  But if they continue to get power with the key removed, then the relay(s) that controls those components is still getting power somehow.  Have your mechanic inspect the relays and the ignition switch in the steering column to look for an shorts in the wiring.
