Mitsubishi Repair: 95 eclipse, battery cables, exhaust flow

Question
I have a 95 eclipse. We recently replaced the computer because after a few miles it would die, after the new computer it still does it so we brought it to the body shop they replaced the battery cables and it still dies, what would it be we already replaced tbe ecu and ran a dognostics on it and nothing showed. Please help!

Answer
Brittany,
There are a number of things that can cause the engine to die:
Poor ignition components (alternator, spark plugs, plug wires, ignition coil, etc)
Poor fuel supply (weak fuel pump, clogged fuel filter, clogged injectors, etc)
Poor air intake (clogged air filter, clogged intake hose)
Poor exhaust flow (clogged catalytic converter)
Poor timing (bad timing belt)

There are many more, but the above are the most common.  Have your mechanic fully inspect at the list I mentioned and hopefully that will help find the problem.
Good luck!
