Mitsubishi Repair: 98 eclipse overheating and averflow spills over, coolant system, head gasket

Question
What should I check?

Answer
Racquel,
Overheating can be caused by a number of thing.  The most common is a stuck thermostat.  Other common causes is a lack of coolant, lack of engine oil, air bubbles in the coolant system, a failed water pump, or lack of pressure in the coolant system.  Have your mechanic inspect this problem immediately.  An overheating engine will warp your head gasket and that will drastically increase your repair bill.
Good luck!
