Mitsubishi Repair: Power Steering Belt on 01 Eclipse, auto parts stores, torque specs

My sons 01 Eclipse needs to have the power steering belt replaced before it will pass inspection.   Do you have any advise about removing the old one ?  It appears to be located in a tight space.

If you really intend on replacing this belt yourself, I highly recommend you get yourself a service manual for the car.  Most auto parts stores carry a service manual for that car for around $15.  The manuals give full and often illustrated instructions on what is required to remove the belt.  It also provides proper torque specs for installation and tells you the proper belt tension needed when replacing a belt.
