Mitsubishi Repair: ticking in dashboard/glovebox, mitsubishi gallant, maegan

I have a ticking noise that is coming from my glovebox in my 1995 Mitsubishi gallant. My glovebox is broken and does not stay in place.After it fell out I left it out for a few hours to finish cleaning out the car and I have had this ticking noise ever since.

It's tough to say what that ticking noise could be.  If the glovebox is broken, there's a good chance it a piece of that caused it to break.  Your car's computer may also be located behind your glovebox, though a broken glovebox shouldn't cause it to start ticking.  I would recommend you have a mechanic look back there, which may mean they remove your dash, to find out what's really making it tick.
