Mitsubishi Repair: Key wont turn in teh ignition., mitsubishi dealership, exact car

1990 Mitsubishi Van-Wagon
The key will go in all the way, it just won't turn. I already tried the whole turning the steering wheel thing. How do i fix this problem?

Over time, the peaks on a key can wear down and the cylinder ignition lock will no longer recognize the key.  You can try going to local Mitsubishi dealership parts department with your van's registration and VIN and ask them to make you a new key (the VIN will allow them to know your exact car and the registration card will prove you own the car).  

If the new key goes not solve your problem, you may need to get the cylinder lock replaced.
