Mitsubishi Repair: A/C pulley or clutch, pulley, manual transmission

2001 Eclipse 2.4L Manual Transmission. Yesterday a loud
rattling noise began coming from my a/c compressor.It stops
when the A/C kicks in. A/C blows cold, is it just the
pulley or do I have to replace the whole thing?

This may be an indication that the bearings in the compressor are starting to go bad.  Though you should check to see simply have a loose belt or warped pulley.  Inspect the inexpensive items first before considering replacing the a/c compressor.
