Mitsubishi Repair: 95 eclipse 2.0 rs auto, torque converter, code 41

car was hit in front dr .fender bought it this way repaired it.car shifts fine for 20 min. then when i stop trans jerks acouple times and stays in 2nd code 41 pops up on scanner.changed to newer solenoid pac. checked out all wires for continu. same all over again. car does not run hot,and fluid is fine red. does not slip. could filter or tcm be bad?

The hit the car had could have cause the drive axle to be forced into the tranny, causing strain on internal components.  There's even a possibility it caused damage to the torque converter.  You should have a transmission shop inspect the tranny for damage, and also inspect the TCU.
