Mitsubishi Repair: 94 Mitubishi Galant ES, head gasket, mitubishi

Question
I just bought a 94 Mit Galant ES, and yesterday i was driving and it got really hot and the radiator cracked. Well, we found out that the bold in the timing belt cover came out, feel into the alternator belt- knocked it off and the powersteering belt. Resulting in the water pump not working. We replaced the radiator and reconnected the belts, and charged the battery. Now it won't start. It will crank over. The Anti Lock light is on when trying to start, the oil light and battery light. Do you have any clue what the problem might be? PlEASE ASAP

Answer
Jennifer: If you got the engine hot enough to crack the radiator, I would be checking the head gasket too, because you could have damged that too. If a bolt came loose from the timing belt cover, was someone checking that and did not put the bolt back in tight. Or did it work its self loose on its own? I would be checking the timing belt you could have broke it too. Also could code the computer it might give you some idea on the lights that are on, such as battery light, oil light and the anti lock light. I would stop trying to start the car and get that timing belt checked, because you could damage the engine more trying to start it. God bless: Linda
