My cig. outlet in my car went out. do i have to replace a fuse? if so where is it and what color. Or is it hooked up to something more difficult?

Megan: Your car must have come with a book when you bought it. In that book would explain where the fuse box is and how to change a fuse. The fuse box should be on the driver's side of the car, under the dash, or on the driver's side of the wall just under the dash. On its cover or inside on the under side of the cover, would be what all the fuses are for and what they cover. Find the one for the cig.outlet and see if it is bad or good. If you have an AutoZone close by they would be willing to help you with this for a small fee, I would think. If that is not your problem, then you could replace the cig.outlet piece or else you might have a broken wire on the one you have. Again a parts store or shop would have to help you with that because they would have to find the broken wire. God bless: Linda
