hey me clutch is slipping something ferce i think i have scorched the plate if so i will need 2 replace it is there any other problem that cause b causing this and how do i fix it tnks 4 ur time

Kevin: Have you checked the hydraulic fluid to make sure you don't have a leak in the system? You could have scorched the plate but you could also have a leak in the system or not building up enough pressure due to that leak. Up by the brake fluid box, should be a hydraulic fluid box too, where you can add fluid to it should you need to do that. If that box has nothing in it, well you have troubles but if you drove a lot without that fluid, you will have cooked a lot of things. Sometimes you can find the leak, fill the fluid and the car will shift but still you should have it checked out for other problems. God bless: Linda
