Mitsubishi Repair: Problems with my 93 Dodge Stealth, dodge stealth, volt meter

On my '93 Dodge Stealth I was driving my car started jumping RPMs and the Volt Meter was jumping too.  Now my car starts and idle for about a minute or so then starts jumping RPMs and the Volt Meter starts jumping.  What is causing my car to do this?

Brad: It could be one of many problems why not have the computer coded, it should explain what is going on with your car. With code, got an AutoZone close by? They should code your car for free. You know don't you that the computer controls everything in your car and so that is the reason I think you should have the car coded. When is the last time you did a tune up on this car? Have you been doing any work on it of late, in that you might have knocked off a vaccum hose? Or put a hole into one? Something else to check. God bless: Linda
