Mitsubishi Repair: Front window motor, mitsubishi gallant, car mitsubishi

My Mitsubishi Gallant 2002 model car front window isn't working it got stuck on a rainy day. My mechanic is advising to change it completely along with the regulator as the motor doesn't come alone.the total pack costs around 200$.Is there any option for me to reduce my cost

Ini: Sorry no other way to do it, well you might get the parts from a junk yard but you have no idea how long they will last and so you might be right back to your same problem. $200.00 is a pretty good cost, alot cheaper than say replacing the whole car? Mitsubishi parts are costly but look at this way once this is fixed, you will have all new parts and your window should work for years to come. Of course you could just leave it as it is, and learn to live without having a window that moves. But with time that gets old too. God bless: Linda
