looking to buy  a3000 94 but on the dash radiator light is on what can this be thanks phil

Phil,
That light typically means car is low on coolant.  There's a sensor in the overflow tank that sends a signal to the car's computer to make that dash light come on when the level is low.  You can ask the current owner to fill the overflow tank to the proper level and see if the light turns off.  If filling the tank does not make the light turn off, then the sensor should be inspected.
