Mitsubishi Repair: 2002 Mit. Eclipse, mitsubishi eclipse, oil level

I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse. My oil light comes on only when I stop with my foot on the break. And when I start to drive the light goes off. I have recently gotten a oil change last month and this issue has just occurred.

The first thing you should do is check your oil level.  With your engine completely cooled, remove the dipstick and check the oil level.  If it's low, add the appropriate amount of oil.  If that does not help, you may have luck going back to the place that changed your oil last month and ask them to figure out the problem.
