Answer
I would get the car into a shop right away this could be CV joints, you can check this yourself well you could see if the rub boot is bad on the back side of the front wheels, though it sounds like to me that the problem is with the bearings in the wheels. If you turn the wheel as far as it will go either left or right, you should be able to see that boot. Is it in good shape or broke even a small break is not good. As they hold the grease in the bearings. You will need to check them on both front wheels. Are you sure the sound goes away when you speed up or it do to the all the wind sound, you just are not hearing the sound. You could have a bend rim or tires out of round. The fact this happens when you are slowly down or at a stop sign makes understanding it harder. Most things happen when the clutch is stepped on, not when you step on the clutch the sounds stops. You could could check the fluid in the clutch, as it could be low too. That reservoir is up beside the  brake reservoir and so see if that is full of fluid for the transmission. God bless: Linda
