i have a 95 mitsubishi magna and it seems to ideal pretty high, i use to be able to adjust this very easily on my 88 suzuki samarui but cant seem to find it on the magna.. i could  probably take more time to look and find it but was hoping someone could give me a general idea...  thanks alot

Answer
Nigel,
I don't have any experience with the Magna, but it's similar to the Diamante (which was sold in the States).  A high idle is usually caused by too much air getting into the engine.  Check all your intake hoses and see if there are any leaks.  Else, to adjust the idle speed, you need to first ground the ECM and the idle speed controller, then you can adjust the base idle setting screw.  If you can get a service manual for your car, it can quickly walk you through this procedure.
Good luck!
