HOPE YOU CAN HELP THANKS HEAPS.

Answer
Kate: Here is what my repair manual says battery low, malfunctioning fuel system(have the fuel pump tested to make sure it is putting out enough fuel and at the right pressure), injector(s) leaking, distributor rotor carbon tracked(replace the distributor cap and rotor). When is the last time you did a tune up on this car, stark plugs, wires, distributor and rotor? It might be a good idea to have the car coded to see what the computer might kick out at to the problem(emission control system not functioning properly), ingition timing incorrect, vacuum leak will cause this too. I can only give you ideas to check, because it would be one of many things. But why not get that fuel pump tested, have the computer coded and do a tune up and see if that fixes the problem. God bless: Linda
