Mitsubishi Repair: Mitsubishi Eclipse breaks are weak at idle, master brake cylinder, mitsubishi eclipse

Question
Brakes are new (good rotors, new pads and were check for air). Almost no brake pressure at idle but the brakes work normal when engine is a higher RPM. Note: spark plugs and wires were replaced at the very same time as the brakes. Car has ABS. Could a sensor or vacum or something else be causing the brake problem... Thanks in advance!   T

Answer
Terry,
This sounds like a problem with your brake booster.  There may be a leak in the hose, check valve, or the entire booster assembly itself.  It's also possible you may have a worn master brake cylinder.  I would highly recommend you have a mechanic inspect your booster and your master cylinder.  It may currently be functioning fine at higher RPMs, but could go bad completely at any time.  Definitely not something you want to find out when you need to make a sudden stop.
Good luck!
