Mitsubishi Repair: electrical problem with the breake ligths, ligths, electrical problem

 When I Turn on the head lights on my car. The  break or stop light dome is permanent on, even if I release the break pedal. If I turn of the head lights the stop or break light works perfectly.  What can this problem relate to?

Rafael: You have a short in the wiring someplace, you will need to get the car into a shop and get them to find that short for you. You don't say the year or how many miles is on this car. But yet new or old can get shorts in them. That is where two wires that are not to be touching are, pulling to much power with them and so causing your problems. But with a voltmeter, repair manual the shop should be able to find the problem, recover the wires or put in new ones which will fix your car. God bless: Linda
