Help meeee!!

Answer
Albert: Those that build those cars put those check engine lights on those cars so that you will do just that get the engine checked. With multiple cylinder missfires is that the sensor is picking up a proplem in how the engine is firing the cylinders. You will have to have the  car coded again and see what the computer kicks out this time. Then I would say you will need a cylinder compression check. As to see what is going on, I would say that that more than one cylinder is no longer firing as it such, so the computer will not let you start the car. Another words, you need to put the car into a shop and get this fixed. I just hope you did not over heat or mess up the engine in doing this. But then get the car into a shop and see what they think. You can not fix this yourself, well wait I guess you could but buy a repair manual, and see if you want to try. Most parts stores have them and they cost around $20.00. Please next time the check engine light comes on, you find out the problem get it checked. Ok. God bless: Linda
