Mitsubishi Repair: 4WD indicator blinking, mitsubishi pajero, blinkin

Hi there..my front 4WD lights keep on blinkin in 2WD (mitsubishi pajero 3drs) allthough the selector is properly put in 2WD drive mode and the wheels are really moving 2WD..What's going on here???

Ed: I don't work on 4WD drives and so had to check around on this a bit. I am wondering if there is not a linkage what is worn and needs to be replaced. Or else it could be switch and needs to be replaced. As a car gets older things do wear out and you did not put down the year of this car. You need to get this checked out at a shop and get it fixed. Or else with time, it could get to slipping into or half way between two wheel and four wheel drive which would cause you problems. God bless: Linda
