Mitsubishi Repair: Noise?, dodge stratus, fan area

i have 2002 dodge stratus with the mitsubishi 3.0 v6 everytime i start it in the morning it sounds i hear a loud clinking noise like somthing is in the fan i checked the fan changed the oil and looked for a loose anything i can't seem to find anything please help is my new car a clam?

Tim: I would say you need to put this car in a shop and have that checked out. As it could be something other than the fan making this noise. Like maybe you have a bad motor mount, you say it is in the fan area but when you check it; you can not find anything that would cause the sound. It could even be your starter, something in the belt that runs the engine, or something in the engine if caught early can be fixed and so I would have this checked out. God bless: Linda
