Mitsubishi Repair: 94 3000gt, mitsubishi dealership, 3000gt

Question
Ok so I apologize now for the length of this message.  I have a 94 3000gt sl that will not start. And by not start I mean not crank or even be able to be push started.  The car has sat for 18 months while I was in Iraq, it has a new battery.  Additionally the radio says error and the 4 ways blink even though the switch is off.  I am assuming that this is a part of the stock anti-theft system i.e. ignition over ride.  Any help that you might have would be amazing thank you,
David

Answer
David,
For the starting problem, you most likely have a dead starter motor.  You should replace the starter and have the alternator tested.  For the radio to work again, you'll need to enter the security code.  If you bought the car new, the code should have been provided from the dealership.  If you bought the car used, the previous owner should have given the code to you.  If you do not have the code, you'll need to contact your Mitsubishi dealership to get the proper code.  To disarm the security system, I believe all you should have to do is turn the key in the driver side door, with the door being either open or closed.
Good luck!
