Mitsubishi Repair: 99 Eclipse battery problem, fog lights, battery problem

About every few months our son's battery in his eclipse dies. Last time we had it replaced was about 4-6 months ago....I pulled the car out of the garage on Saturday morning to the drive way, parked it....pulled it back in the garage Saturday night and tonight, Monday ( 2 days later), it is completely dead. This has happened before and for no apparent reason. Please help. Thank you for your time.

Debra: Any chance your son put in a different radio in the car or maybe new fog lights? As the car has a short in it someplace, you can have a shop check this out for you. As to make sure the whole wiring system that controls the charge for the battery is working as it should. And it would show any shorts or what not. Even having the computer coded, might show what is doing this battery pull. So you need to get the car into a shop, unless your son did put in that different radio or fog lights as he might have hooked a wire up wrong so the pull on the battery. Other wise you will have to take the car to a shop as sometimes it takes checking a few different things to find the problem. I hope this helps and God bless: Linda
