Mitsubishi Repair: Rev for 2000 Pajero IO, mitsubishi pajero io, vacuum leak

Question
Whenever my Mitsubishi Pajero IO 2000 is cold it runs okay but, as soon as it is warm if the rev count falls below 10000 rev. per min. it shuts off. To avoid this I had to turn up the rev. Why would this happen and what would you suggest I do?

Answer
Lacy: You need to have your Pajero coded, that is when a shop hooks your car's computer up to their inshop computer to see that your car's computer tells them is going on with it. I wonder if you don't have a weak sensor someplace, maybe a vacuum leak or something on that order. But you will have to get a shop to check this out for you. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
