Mitsubishi Repair: fuel problems?, fuel problems, computer problem

hi i have a v6 galant and its playing up first if i went over 4ooo revs the car cut out then id have to leave it for 5 minutes then it would start then it started hapening at 2500revs n ow it just wont start

Josh: Sounds like a computer problem to me. You need to get your car coded to see what might be kicked out by the computer. Most shops now days can not work on a car, if the computer does not kick something out at them on a coding. But then it could be that a sensor is getting weak but the computer is not picking up on this or is so messing with the amount of fuel being pumped into the engine. Still a shop would be able to tell you what is going on and why. I hope this helps and God bless: Linda
