Question
i bought this car and took it home i was told the clutch was bad the car felt as if it didnt have a turbo and i want to know if the cluch can make a fast car seem slow it has a turbo upgrade pulleys exhaust and a few bolt ons also when i got home i heard a loud grinding sound as i pulled onto my driveway and now i can get it into gear but it shuts off once you release the clutch pedal does that sound like a clutch giving out or the tranny

Answer
Rafael,
An excessively worn clutch can slip and that will rob your engine of power.  A properly working clutch should not make any noise when pushing or releasing the pedal.  You may need a new clutch assembly.  Have a mechanic examine your current clutch and have it replaced if necessary.  Most Eclipses with turbo engines need their clutch replaced every 80,000 miles or so.
Good luck!
