Mitsubishi Repair: Fuel Leak, mitsubishi montero, bottom front

Question
I have a 1990 Mitsubishi Montero.. I love this car. It was running fine. I went to the store turned the engine off, when i returned it wouldn't start. It smelled like gas, so I assumed it was flooded. Then after checking things and trying to start it, suddenly gas started pouring out from the bottom front of the engine. I'm assuming it is the fuel line. I'm hoping. I can follow the fuel line on the bottom of the car, but I cant seem to find where it connects to the top part of the engine. I cant get any information, do you know anything about this? I'm hoping you can help.

Answer
Miranda,
This could be do to the fuel line leading to the fuel filter or coming out of the return line.  I would highly recommend you have your truck brought to a mechanic to inspect all the fuel lines leading to and coming from the engine.  In actuality, there really aren't that many fuel lines in your car.  So a mechanic should be able to identify where the leak is coming from with little effort.
Good luck!
