Mitsubishi Repair: strong gasoline smell - 2003 Outlander, gasoline smell, outlander

Whenever my hubby comes home after driving his car, he wreaks of gasoline.  We took it to the dealership but they didn't find anything wrong with it. What can we do about this, it can't be healthy!

Becca: You need to take your Outlander back to the dealership sometimes I could just kick the guys that work at such a place. As they just don't even try to find the problems with things. I would have them check the evaporative canister. As I would say you need to replace that, because the smell of fuel has to be coming from someplace and it is not great for your husband to be smelling this everyday.
