Mitsubishi Repair: clicking noise, fan motors, fan 2

My daughters 2003 Galant makes a loud clicking noise when the fan is on high. If you lower the fan 2 clicks the noise stops. Do you know what could be causing the noise?

Alan: The fan motor is going, they often start to cause trouble when on high because most people use that adjustment the most. Some fan motors can get greased and that will stop the noise. But still I would say you will have to replace the motor, so take the car to a shop and see what they can do for you. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
