Mitsubishi Repair: white vapor, head gasket, antifreeze

My 1995 Galant has started to display white steam and smoke that smells like antifreeze when the engine warms up, it runs ok. how and what should i check ?

Ray: You need to have the head gasket checked as I think it starting to leak. But also with that the antifreeze is now getting into the oil and so the engine is trying to run on a mix of oil/antifreeze. Please get this check out and fixed soon; other wise your car will get so it will not run. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
