Mitsubishi Repair: Throttle Body, throttle position sensor, throttle body

Question
I have a '96 GS-T Eclipse. I took off the throttle body to clean it and dipped it in fuel. Do you think I could have damaged something in it. Because now Im having trouble boosting. I went from 14 psi to 10 psi.

Answer
Alfredo,
There are two holes at the bottom of the throttle body that, I believe, go into the Idle Speed Controller.  You do not want to get any cleaning solution into these because it can cause damage to that component.  Your car's computer may be restricting the boost because it is detecting an improper air-to-fuel ratio.  If your throttle position sensor, Idle Speed Control, or any other component was connected to your throttle body when you dipped it into fuel to clean it, you should check those components for damage.
Good luck!
