Mitsubishi Repair: sounds like belts touching, belts, norm

I have about 2500 miles on a fresh rebuilt motor and im suddenly hearing a noise that sounds like my belts touching. I look in the area and don't see anything out of the norm. Sound comes from the belt side of the motor and only when revving or speeding up. This is a 97 GS-T

Lucas: You could have a belt or two that is loose so slipping. Or you could need to replace the belts. So take the car either back to the shop that rebuilt the engine to get those belts checked. Or someplace else. Belts do need to be replaced from time to time. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
