Hi Linda...My car is emmitting a bluish looking smoke at take offs...even idling at a light or whatever it smells like coolant...sometimes it smokes and sometimes it doesn't...what gives??

Shannon: Oh I wish I had better news for you. I would say the head gasket on your car is getting weak so it is letting coolant leak into the oil of your car and so you can small the burnt coolant as well as the bluish looking smoke. You need to have a shop check this out for you. Because if you let it go, it will get so the car will not run right, it was start to loose water and then will over heat. So get this checked, please.
