Mitsubishi Repair: front end, mitsubishi aftermarket, nuts and bolts

Question
i rear ended a truck with my 03 mitsub eclipse at about 30 mph...i need a whole new front end-bumper, hood, both quarter panels, front tires/rims- and i also know i need atleast a new radiator..how much do you think this is going to put me back? what else do you think could have been damaged by this accident?

Answer
Robin,
Sorry for taking so long to respond.  New fenders and liners will cost around $550, around $300-$400 for a new bumper and components, about $500 for a new hood, $350-$400 for a new radiator, between $200-$400 per rim, and around $80-$120 per tire.  This does not factor in all the various nuts and bolts and garnish parts.  Plus the labor and painting involved could cost in excess of $1500 alone.  The prices I've listed are OEM parts from Mitsubishi.  Aftermarket parts can be cheaper.

Other items that may need to be replaced are A/C components (condensor, piping, and evaporator), cooling fans (engine and A/C fans), headlight components, drive belts, transmission cooler, oil cooler, air filter components, and there could be any number of hoses, clips, or other accessories that need to be replaced.

Overall, it may could a few thousand dollars to fix everything.  But I wouldn't say that for sure since I don't know the actual amount of damage.  It's best to get a complete breakdown of parts required and pricing estimates before you agree for your mechanic to work on it.  And if you're not going through the dealership, it may be beneficial to work out a deal on pricing for parts and labor if your mechanic is willing to be flexible.
Good luck!
