Answer
Amy: Sounds like you might have a weak sensor someplace. You should get your car into a shop, explain to them what is going on and let them check the car over. It could be the fuel pump is not putting out enough fuel for the engine to start in the morning. If you are one of these people that run their cars down to empty before filling them up, and I am not saying anything bad about you. Because most people do not know this but the fuel is what keeps the pump cool. So you should only go down to a 1/4 of a tank. Anyway there is a way to test the pump to see how much fuel it is kicking out. How about a tune up when is the last time you did that? If I buy a car used I always do a tune up on it shortly after I get it. Because though the dealers say they tune the car up, I never really believe them. So a tune up might be in order too. But still taking the car to a shop, explaining what is it doing well they will fix it for you. You do get the oil changed at every 3000 miles too, right? Hey have a good week... enjoy your summer. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
