Answer
Alisha: With no year or miles it is kind of hard to answer all this. I would have the car coded, that will rule out any problem with the computer or sensors. Then I would check to see if there might be a problem with the timing belt. My repair manual says this... these are things to check. Emission control system not functioning properly. Ignition timing incorrect. Faulty secondary ignition system(cracked stark plug insulator, fautly stark plug wires, distrbutor cap and/or rotor). Fuel injectin system in need of adjustment or worn excessively. Vacuum leak. Damaged or worn lash adjuster and/or valves sticking. So there are some ideas to check right out of my Haynes repair manual on your car. I hope this helps and good luck! Linda
