Mitsubishi Repair: Mitsubishi Diamante, mitsubishi diamante, starter motor

Question
The problem in my car is that, when I slow down or stop ,the car dies (or engine turns off) and sometimes the idling rpm goes to 1500-2000, I don't know whats the problem, Also today the car was runing fine then suddenly after I came from the grocery store the car was not starting, I tried for jump start but thats not a problem,I think its the starter motor.
Can you please help me. Its really urgent!

Ketan: Have things to check.. could be there is a bad sensor in your car, or the computer is going out. I would have the fuel pump tested, sounds like the car is not getting enough fuel. If you ran your car down to empty before filling it each time, you could have burnt out the fuel pump. With this high cost of fuel a lot of people are doing this. And the fuel is what keeps the pump cool, so you should only let the tank to get down to 1/4 empty. You did not put down the year or the miles on this car. So I can only make some guesses what is wrong. The starter motor only starts the car, the computer and all its sensors keep it running. And the fuel pump bring fuel to the engine. I think you have a larger problem then the starter. You will have to take your car to a shop and get them to fix your car. Because it could be a lot of different things.
