Mitsubishi Repair: 2008 lancer, change gears, transmission problems

hey i just bought a 2008 lancer and when i accelerate it goes up to 6rpm and doesnt change gears what do i do thanks

Thiagot: Take the car back to whom ever you bought it from and get them to check that transmission. Sounds like you either have transmission problems, a sensor could be out or it needs more fluid. You should check the fluid in the transmission. It should be pink in color, not smelled burnt and be on the right mark. But I would take it back to whom ever you bought it from. This is a new car!
