Mitsubishi Repair: help, vacuum leaks, pcv valve

hi i have a 91 talon tsi fwd 5speed and its running really weird when im drivin around and its running good but than all of a sudden the checkengine light comes on and the car hardly moves but then when it goes off it runns good....im really lost on this one.

This could be caused by a clogged PCV valve, clogged fuel filter, clogged air filter, or vacuum leak in one of the intake hoses.  You should have the PCV valve, air filter, and fuel filter replaced.  Also have your intake system pressure tested to confirm the presence of any vacuum leaks.
