Answer
Cody: Pulling this right out of my repair manual, broken, loose or disconnected wires at the ignition coil or faulty coil. Broken, loose or disconnected wires in the starting circuit. You said you replaced the distributor did you also then do the rotor too? Also check the primary wire connections at the distributor to make sure they're clean and tight. Check for voltage to the coil. Check the coil. If still no stark, the coil-to-cap wire may be bad(can be checked with an ohmmeter well the ressistance and then get a repair manual to compare it to the specifications found in the repair manual). Then if that wire is ok, then it still could be your distributor in that you got a bad part. The manual says this though... before replacing the distributor assembly, check on the availability of a solid state ignition unit(which consists of the internal workings of the distributor) or rebuild the distributor on exchange basis. If still no stark then go to the ignition coil. Again though a lot of people on this site get upset with me, you really need to buy yourself a repair manual as to check this coil you need to check for resistance and you need your manual to walk you though that and what to check as well as what to be looking for. If people are going to work on their own cars, then yes great idea. But you need a repair manual, tools and the time to do this. Again I like Haynes repair manuals but only because they show more pictures, walk you through things and run two engines sizes. So if you get a manual should get one for the years of 1990 to 1994. You should have your car coded just to be on the safe side too. Work on a lot of these year cars and a lot of them the sensors are getting weak or bad. AutoZone will do coding for free well some stores will I mean have the plug for this year car. Keep me posted as to how things are going. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
