Mitsubishi Repair: Mitsubishi Verada GTVi - fuel gauge, mitsubishi verada, fuel gauge

Question
I recently adjusted the clock in my Verada (after Daylight Savings ended) following the instruction book, i.e. ACC mode on ignition and used the down arrow. This changed the time correctly but now my fuel gauge is not working properly. It starts at full and then travels to empty quickly even though I have fuel. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you.

Answer
Lewis: Well changing the clock has nothing to do with the problem with the fuel gauge, it just happen at the same time is all. The sending unit back on your gas tank, has a problem. Could be a wire is not touching as it should or the sending unit it's self is bad. But you will have to take the car into a shop and see what they would charge you to fix that. Hope this helps and good luck! Linda
