Mitsubishi Repair: 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse headlight, mitsubishi eclipse, headlight bulbs

Question
How do you get the headlight cover off to replace the bulb?  I popped open the hood and did not see any screws to loosen.  Please advise, thanks!

Lou: You need to open the hood, look down to where the headlights are on the outside of the car to where the back of that light would be in the inside of the car. There might be a panel or something like that to remove behind the bulb. But you should be able to remove the bulb and put the new one in. Be sure not to touch the bulb well the new one with your skin. Always wear gloves when changing headlight bulbs. If you go to a parts store or even Wal-Mart to buy a new bulb, it will show you what the bulb looks like that goes into your car. Then you will understand what you have to get to, to change the light. I hope this helps and good luck.
