Mitsubishi Repair: 1995 Eclipse RS, blown fuses, crank sensor

Question
Ok the other day i was driving down the road and lost all power. First i found out that the ignition coil was getting no power plus a few other things and i ran into this on one of my other eclipse so i thought it was the crank sensor. Replaced it and still nothing. So then i found out that the fuel pump is not getting power either. I checked the relays to the pump and they are getting power, but not the pump. No blown fuses as far as i can find. I just cant figure out the problem. And also like the day after it died i tryed to start it again and it fired up for like 10 secs then died and hasent started again since. thanks

Joe: You need to have your car coded, as that sounds like a weak sensor(s) or maybe even a problem with your computer. You know don't you that Mitsubishi farmed out the building of their computers to another company and that company did not make very good ones. So with time a piece in those computers will start to leak and with time kills off the computers. But it is a slow death and mean while all kinds of things can happen to the cars with those computers. So I would have the car coded, AutoZone will do that for free and it would rule out any such problems that way. Other wise I would say you have a short someplace between the replays and the pump. That you would need a voltmeter and a repair manual. Should be able to buy a repair manual for your car at any parts store for around $20.00; you need the manual to get the right readings should you use the voltmeter to check your car. It will then help you find the problem. I hope this helps and good luck!
