Mitsubishi Repair: Colt Vista, colt vista, autozone

Question
Hi,
I have a 1991 Colt Vista that has 169,300 or so miles and it starts well when it's cold pretty well but when the weather is warmer - 40's + it will start and die, and start and die Ect... It will do this over and over unless I keep some pressure on the gas pedal. After it warms up it's OK. Any Ideas?
Thanks. Jeff

Answer
Jeff: Done a good tune up lately? How old is your battery and it's cables? How clean are the cables there they hook to the battery? How old is your air cleaner? Should have your fuel pump checked might be getting old and not putting out enough fuel. No check engine lights on? Could be you have a sensor going bad. If you got an AutoZone close by, they will code your car for free. That would rule out a bad sensor or your computer going. So try these ideas and see if any of them help you out. Hope this helps and good luck!
