Mitsubishi Repair: Montero Sport, montero sport, balance shaft

When I put the car in reverse or drive the engine shakes horribly. So bad, that when I try to drive it the whole car shakes. Could this be from a spark plug being shot? Its a 97 model and they have never been changed. What do you think is wrong with it?

Thomas: I hope you are kidding about the stark plugs I mean this is 2007 and so for 10 years you never did a tune up? Hopefully you did change the oil and filter. I would say with your problem you either have a broke motor mount or your car's balance shaft belt is getting ready to go. I would be getting this car into a shop get those stark plugs changed, the wires, distributor and rotor changed. And have the shop check your timing belt and that balance belt. One of those let go, you could mess up your engine pretty good. But then it could just be a broke motor mount too. Either way, get this car fixed. The whole car shaking really bothers me, that does not sound good. So please get it checked out to keep your car on the road and to keep yourself safe. Hope this helps and good luck!
