Mitsubishi Repair: oxygen sensor, oxygen sensors, oxygen sensor

Question
I have a 2004 endeavor. Last month my service engine light came on. I borrowed my friends scanner and it came up that i have a bad sensor on bank 2 sensor 1. Can you please tell me the location of this sensor so i can change it. Thank you Rich

Answer
Rich: Hello would love to help you. But every car is different, some have one and others have two or more. You need to go to a parts store, buy a repair manual for your car and they cost around $20.00. If you can not find that manual then go to your library they carry them too. Look up your car, find the oxygen sensor or sensors then replace it. Or else go to a shop and let them do it for you. This will not be an easy job, because you will need a garage, jack stands and tools to replace the sensor(s). You got that? I really don't work on such newer cars, anyway. I would check the internet and see what I can find. But that repair manual would really help you and it will explain all kinds of things about your car. You know if you went to an AutoZone they would code your car for free and it might explain which or how many oxygen sensors your car has. Hope this helps and good luck!
