Mitsubishi Repair: 300o GT computer, emission inspection, gt computer

I took my 3000GT in for an emission inspection and was told that they couldn't talk to my onboard computer. I'm wondering whether the inspector knew what he was doing. Is there a fuse for this computer. Where exectly is the connector located. I have a 1998 3000GT

Jimmy: Got a AutoZone close by? They will code your car for free. I think the inspector did not know what he was doing. I have not heard of that before, I will have to do some checking as to where your car's connector is located. But if you take it to an AutoZone they would be able to tell you as well as show you. You should buy yourself a "repair" manual for your car. Can get one at any parts store and they cost around $20.00 but well worth the money. No, I don't think there is a fuse for the computer. But if your computer was not working, your car would not be going down the road. Hope this helps and good luck!
